Where was it shot?

Really wondering where, and HOW they shot some of the indoor scenes, particularly the "supermarket" and the other scenes before and after it, with the giant horizontal "elevators" among other things. I presume they weren't built for the movie, but actually part of some government or industrial underground complex, or building? Are any of these structures or similar ones around today, and what were they used for?

Some scenes had been shot in pavilion, some - in the Moscow subway, one of scenes (where they sing a song "Stranger in the koo") - under the rotating scene on the Russian Army Theatre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Army_Theatre).
