Reverse Airplane! Gag
Did anyone notice the gag near the beginning?
The propeller airplane is taking off, and we hear the sound of a JET ENGINE!
It's the exact same gag they used in the movie "Airplane!", but in reverse; in "Airplane!", they were ordered to use a modern jet-engine-based airplane, when the creators of the movie wanted to use a propeller-based airplane.
They had to succumb to the will of the moneybags people, but they had their revenge by still using a propeller airplane sound for the airplane for the whole duration of the movie!
Such a subtle gag, I never noticed it before. Did anyone else notice it?
