who else saw this in theaters as a kid?

I did in it's original release when i was 5 years old about 4 times in theaters, i had some of the merchandise like a readalong book with cassette, soundtrack, coloring books and a stuffed basil including a stickerbook.

It was a shame it never showed up on video the next year as i would look into my city's video stores sometimes and would ask if Great Mouse Detective will ever be on video and they didn't know as i felt sad for i wanted it but they did had clips of it on TV with 2 disney specials mainly that escape sequence. In 92 it was re-issued and i saw it in theaters when i was 10 again 2 times in it's re-issue and got the movie for christmas including the CD soundtrack.

I saw it in the basement of my town's Regent University Union (the same University I would graduate from 21 years later), I also saw "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" there. Not a trace of that theater remains today, which is a bit of a shame.
