Just saw this movie for the first time
It instantly became one of, if not my all-time favorite Disney film ever made. I just love the characters, especially Dawson. When he blamed himself of the girl being captured I almost cried

shareThis is high up on my list of favorite Disney movies, only after the Little Mermaid. (Ariel was my home girl growing up).
I'm 26 now and I still enjoy this movie... especially with the resurgence of Sherlock Holmes.
Welcome to the fold.

Me as well. I bought the video of it on Ebay last week and watched it on Friday night after it came through the letterbox that morning and I must say I don't consider it 1 of my best movies. I'd rate it 60%.
shareI enjoyed Dawson too. If you ever see the old Sherlock Holmes movies with Nigel Bruce playing Dr Watson, you will see where they got the Dawson character from.
sharesaw it for the first time too, loved it
I take it you watched it too on channel4, ganglehog (we meet again)
I did see 'Mouse' on Channel 4. You're my BBC2 friend. I saw 'Arch Of Triumph' on BBC2 on Saturday. That was the first time I've watched one of their early morning films for a long time.
shareI just saw it last night and was surprised how good it was and shocked that it is not more celebrated.
shareTHE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE.
ROBIN HOOD.
THE FOX & THE HOUND.
THOSE ARE MY THREE FAVORITE DISNEY FILMS...IN ORDER.
Robin Hood! Love that one! Great tunes! They cut some corners (rotoscoping the Snow White dance or repeating the animation), but it’s classic old style Disney, their best of the 60’s- 70’s, since Sleeping Beauty.
