The best one in the franchise.
A lot of people would argue part 1 or 2 is better, but those took itself too serious for a campy horror franchise. At least this one got the tone right and we actually get the mask in it.

shareNope.
4 or 2 is the best, flip a coin.
I agree; Jason Lives feels like the pop-culture mythos people have come to know Friday the 13th as, distilled into one official movie. That's what I love about it.
shareAnd it's sandwiched inbetween part 5 and 7 which not may people like. You can appreciate it more when you watch the series in order.
shareI agree, it is structured like an old monster movie and there is horror/atmosphere. I think the paintball scene might have been borderline too goofy. But the mythos they added was great, I like that Jason has to be chained to the bottom of the lake and nothing else will stop him.
1 is def not the best, low quality and lets be honest the mother as a killer is ridiculous. 2 is good but Jason is not Jason without the mask. three and four are good Jason films with all the elements, they simply didnt mention the fact that he is indestructible.
It's too bad Jason had that toolbelt on and they couldn't have made him look a little more like he does in part 7.
The problem with the paintball scene was they made those guys too nerdy. It doesn't fit ilin with the rest of the film.
shareI AGREE.😐
share6 is my favorite ! Still fun despite dated AF.
sharenope pt 2
