Better than the ones before

Why is this one so much better made than the ones before? The first two movies are boring as hell. 3 is good. The 4th 5th are messy and awkward. This one feels more like a real slasher movie even though it came out three years after the genre’s peak.

I enjoy 1-4, but 6 is my favorite.

It was a tongue cheek parody of the movies before it and works really well. It's good but part 5 is replayed more to me.
