Here's What They Should Do For The Remake
Make it about a boy who is transported 50 years into the future. So let's say the beginning of the movie is set in 2012, the kid wakes up in the year 2062 and his parents are in a high-tech nursing home where both people and robots take care of old people. I mean there was a robot in the original 1986 version, right.
Anyways, I think that's the only way to properly remake this film. But knowing Hollywood. They'll probably set the move from 2004-2012 for the 8 year gap. I mean 2012 isn't going to be that different than 2004. Does anyone agree. Hollywood is going to remake this film no matter what.
