Music Video Shown in the NASA Safe-House Scene

What's the music video in the scene where Sarah Jessica Parker is introduced to the main character? I was kinda busy during the 80's and don't know if it's a real video or just one made for the movie. Any ideas? Thanks!

The group is Blancmange and the video is Lose Your Love

I watched FotN for the first time last night, and as soon as it was over I raced to my computer to look up that song. I grew up in the 80s and it's amazing that after all these years I continue to find great songs that I'd never heard before.

It is SO funny you said that (and that I happened to read it today) because the same thing happened to me yesterday. I was watching "Pretty in Pink" from 1986, and discovered the song "Positively Lost Me" by The Rave Ups. OMG, that is an *awesome* song. How did I miss it in the '80s?!? It's on iTunes, even. Something about the song reminded me of the Blancmange song from FotN. I love 'em both. If anyone also knows both of those songs, I'd love to hear what you think.

John Hughes is one of my idols, and I've seen Pretty in Pink a dozen times if I've seen it once, but that song had never caught my ear before. Wow, another great find!

I can definitely see--well, hear --why you'd make the association w/"Lose your love".
