I have a question regarding the picture on the front cover of the vhs, its the picture of Joe holding Lisa bent backwards as if she's been shot as there are people in the background aiming guns, you see i don't remember this bit in the film, is it in the film and i missed it?? Does anyone know?

Nope, Virginia Madsen's character never gets shot in the movie. I guess the cover is just a stylized version of him passionately holding her (which she is obviously enjoying ;-)) and the persecutors in the background are just part of a collage. It's not meant to represent a single scene or picture, but merely showing the movie-renting public at first sight, that this is a movie with a hot couple that has to overcome obstacles in order to experience their love.. or something like that. :-)

I only watched the film for the first time the other day as i'd never heard of it before, but after seeing the cover on Amazon and reading all the good reviews i had to see it, but after it finished i thought i'd missed something as i hadn't seen him hold her like that, so i had to ask.
I have to say i thought the film was brilliant, it's gonna be one of those ones i watch all the time.
I do hope they release an uncut version on dvd soon.
I read somewhere that exist an UNRATED copy of Fire with Fire,I saw this information on a review about it in a some erotic website...where a guy from USA swear that saw that unusual version with some hot scenes between joe and lisa...and he discribed those scenes. I tryed to contact that guy, more than once, i have his e-mail, but he simply doesn't answer me. Some people just said to me that he is lier, but honestly I don't think so....because he doesn't win anything telling a lie like that....won't you agree?
shareYeah i agree with you. I read it somewhere aswell there was an uncut version which is why i said about it in the first place, i think maybe someone said it on this website but i'm still hoping they'll release it, but there's probably no point in getting my hopes up......
