I'm glad it's on DVD, but...
...must they always do away with the most eye-catching cover art of the VHS and replace it generic looking crap for the DVD release?

shareThe recent DVD release by Shout! Factory retains the original poster art.
I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
Yes! Problem solved! Thanks again, Woody; you always have the best information!
sharenot problem solved, it's in a 4 pack. not the same thing!
is there any foreign country that has the original art on their dvd?
same goes for Extreme Prejudice, crap dvd art great vhs poster art.
They've been doing that to so many movies. Ever see the DVD covers for 'Real Genius' and 'Deadly Friend'. They'll make your eyes bleed. Many DVD companies seem to think that the more unappealing something looks, the more likely people are to pick it up (and because we do live in a neurotypical world, they may not be far off)
I think they like to update the covers to make them look more new, similar looking to modern releases and less old.
they do it for dvd but the blu ray will have different art to the dvd.
