I feel there was an opertunity missed for a better laugh, had the car scene (Tutti Fruity playing on the radio and "Good Morning, Orvis" being said) been shown first it would of been a good joke to introduce Little Richard that way instead of the cop scene being first.

If I've never seen it before, it's a new release to me!

Little Richard was excellent in his role, but the dog was the best.

He's Al Sharpton but with more sense.

that's funny, you're the second person i see mention that the dog made the best work. i thought the scenarios felt too rushed and flawed, and little richards cameos was funny but its weird how high up in the casting he was considering his screen time, and it would make more sense if his songs were newly recorded, one thing that always hooked me on this flick and some other 1980's comedy, king ralph i think it was, was the background music made by little richard, i for so long wish he had made a big come back with these re recording hits and that he had kept recording along side with some of the others 1950's stars who made comebacks in the 21st century, its a shame to have these cats still around and not making any new recordings, wake up america, thats the reason i keep tuning into this flick to hear little richards re recordings of his old hits, if you wanna hear this tune little richard is performing here in the living room without the actors messing about check out the "legends of rock'n'roll" dvd. much of the movie seem about as much action as a 1989 episode of dallas, and i thought the whole plot idea was him finding his dog.

it wasn't lies, it was just b.s,
of the pattern i did feed,
interpret anyway i like,
it was just b.s, i didn't mean to lie.

I still get the giggles just thinking about it. Little Richard was a great musician-didn't expect him to be funny as well.
