Is that the Talking Heads version??
The 'Once in a lifetime' that plays in the opening, is that the Talking Heads version, it sounds different? If it is, is that a custom compilation just for the movie?

As stated above this is Talking Heads from the live concert/album Stop making sense and in my opinion far better than the studio version, here is the imdb link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088178/
and Youtube

Live version is worlds better. I always thought the film version sounded better, too. Now we know why. It doesn't sound live in the movie.
shareThe Talking Heads were a really "tight" band. Few bands were as tight as TH.
A live performance sounded perfect because the band was so well rehearsed, so cohesive, that every performance was as good as an expensive engineered recording...if not better.
Yadda yadda yadda <- this is my signature
It was the version taken from "Stop Making Sense" love album. however it was specially remixed for the film to take out the sound of the crowd.
shareI love the version in this movie.
shareYes just finished watching Down & Out on Netflix & I like this version better also, I am a big fan of Talking Heads, wonder where to find this version?
shareApparently the only way to get the movie version is through Torrents or ripping the audio from the DVD yourself. :(
"Listen, do you smell something? -Ray Stantz"
