The ending (spoilers)

My big problem with the ending is the fact the robot is coming out of Sam's body. I thought it was fine she killed him, could have just snapped his neck.

The ending with the robot coming out of Sam's body doesn't stay consistant with the scene before where Sam says Paul but Bee takes over to kill the cop. I know the studio was responsible with the ending.

that would have been nice to have deleted scenes and anything extra for when the DVD was released.

I am very pleased the trailer was included. I love the music in the preview. It shows how they first intended for Elivra to die.

I am not complaining too much because I still like the film despite the fact the ending was way over the top.

I really liked the ending in the book as well. What a chilling ending that would have been to the film.

The first cut of DF was very different to the theatrical release. Fans of Craven hated it because it "wasn't gory enough". Such a pity Craven was at the mercy of a major studio and not an independent.

yeap they wanted a more of A Nightmare On Elm St type film.

That was a DREAM!

"Well I Won't back Down...No I Won't Back Down..."

I'm probably the only one, but I kinda like the ending... It doesn't make sense, yeah, but that's why I like it lol! It's so bad that it's good! It's so ridiculous that it's hilarious! I just love how the movie seems serious and suddenly ridiculous things happen lol.

I think the ending was a dream sequence,

Question: So this is the movie where we physically see a robot coming out from a girl, like tearing it's way out? For years I had this image in my mind but never knew what movie it was. Sounds like it's this movie, but I don't remember it being scary. Can someone confirm?
