I'm hoping this will make it to Blu ray someday.
If so, it'd be amazing if we could also get Wes Craven's first cut of the film along with the theatrical version.
But it seems unlikely that Warner would dedicate extra time and money for a 80's slasher film that won't turn out to be as profitable.
Thoughts?
Highly doubtful a release like that will ever happen. Warner has films that will pull in far more money. However if they ever license the rights to say a company like Shout Factory it's possible (though doubtful on 2-cuts since it may be too costly).

We should write Shout Factory and let them know there's enough interest in Deadly Friend (specially in seeing Craven's original cut).
