The camera moves dreamt up by Marty and realised by Ballhaus are truly amazing in this film.

Sure he had them on Goodfellas and Casino, but here he has that gritty intense feel he used to have and has now lost in in these overblown over budgeted films he makes like GONY and Hugo.

Marty go and make a 20 mil movie again and refresh your style I miss the style of your better films

Brother, that was well put. Couldn't agree more.

I'm a huge fan of this film and it hurts knowing "Hugo" along with his other recent fiascos are called masterpieces and hailed by most critics, while TCOM is often declared one of his absolute worst.

what do you smoke? 20 mil is enough for indie movies nowdays.
