The Hustler or The Color of Money?
My vote: The Color of Money
It should be against the law to use "LOL" unless you really did LOL!

You should get someone to explain to you the difference between fact and opinion.
Why are so few imdb posters rational and reasonable?

Opinion shmopinion Snooze Alarm. You're wrong. If you LIKE The Color Of Money better then god speed but The Hustler is a better film, any objective person can see that.

I love The Color of Money, I went to see it several times when it was in the theater and bought the soundtrack and played it over and over, but since Opinions are like a-holes and everyone has one (and an opinion is not a fact) I believe without a doubt that The Hustler is the better movie.
The Hustler tells the real story of what we really need to know about Fast Eddie.
Every time I watch it I am amazed by the great performances of Jackie Gleason, George C. Scott and Piper Laurie.
And Piper Laurie.'s performance always breaks my heart, The Color of Money is missing that touch.
I give,
The Color of Money 8/10
The Hustler 10/10
My guess is that you weren't even born when ' The Hustler ' was released.
shareWell, I was only 6 years old when The Color of Money came to theatres, and did not see it until I really got into pool at around the age of 14. I really liked it, but I The Hustler was by far the better movie in my opinion. I do not think the 2 movies should be compared though. The Color of Money is laughable (horrible in comparison) to The Hustler. They are just completely different types of movies (from different era's). It would be better to compare The Color of Money to a movie like Poolhall Junkies I think (only because they are much closer to the same era, but TCOM is much better then Poolhall Junkies though I think, even though I really did enjoy Poolhall Junkies).
shareThe Hustler, far and away.
The Color of Money left me flat.
Life is for lovers, and lovers are for life.
Hustler is one of the best movies ever made. This is like comparing Godfather to Johnny Dangerously.
share-The Hustler (1961) - 8.5-9/10 (this is the oldest movie i like a lot in general)
-The Color of Money (1986) - 8/10 (this is underrated for sure)
both movies are in my Top 100 movies of all time out of the 1,850+ total movies i have seen. Fast Eddie Felson is easily Paul Newman's best character as he's born to play this role.
p.s. i just finished re-watching The Color of Money just now (July 6th 2015) as the last time i seen it was May 26th 2012. i can't believe it's been over 3 years already since i last re-watched this movie.

Scorsese's most memorable movies...
1.The Departed (2006) - 10/10
2.The Color of Money (1986) - 8/10
-.The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
4.The Aviator (2004) - 7.5-8/10
5.Casino (1995)
6.After Hours (1985) - 7-7.5/10
7.Gangs of New York (2002)
p.s. The Color of Money is my 4th favorite Tom Cruise movie and my 2nd favorite Paul Newman movie behind The Hustler. keep in mind i think Tom Cruise has the highest volume of memorable movies of any actor out there with thirteen total.

The Hustler by far.
The Hustler is a classic, perhaps the top movie of the 1960's. Color of Money is a good movie and decent sequel, but not a classic.
Yeah, TCOM is a joke in comparison to The Hustler, and I do not think they should even be compared. Grady Seasons (Keith McCready) was the best thing about TCOM in my opinion. He was a very classic character.
