For any video game gurus out there... supposedly Ayla in Chrono Trigger is based off of this Ayla. I haven't found the interview that confirms it, but it does make complete sense.

Good call man, good call. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time! Ayla is a freaking powerhouse in it too. :D
Plus, CT has some of the best music ever created in general let alone a video game.
I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I loved tanking up Ayla on a new game + to where every other attack did 9999 damage.
