I think it would make for a great movie if done right.

Yes I think so too. I'm watching the movie right now and I must say, I can understand how people would hate it if they have not read the book. I think without the knowledge that the book gives you about the storyline and characters, the movie would make absolutely no sense at all. However, I have read the book and so I'm happy to at least have a simple reenactment of what I have read :)

I've read the book, and I still dislike the movie. I hope the TV-series Lifetime is planning to make will be better.
