Similar Movies in this caliber of bad

I consider my self a minor connaisseur of classic movies such as this. Like Slumber Party Massacre 2, Popcorn, Maniac Cop, and Surviving the Game. The Problem is I havent been able to locate a movie matching the nostalgia of these movies, and that makes me sick. I would like to think there are other bad films such as this. Someone reply with some movie titles or suggestions. Ill start it off with a link to some of my own "http://imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=19485591";

Don't forget Ghoulies, especially Ghoulies 2...the movie(s) about those little slimy monsters that are suppose to be demons or something. LoL, very entertaining, in a non-serious way.

A ton of those films are listed on my website that is dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans of the show. It is not just about USA UP ALL NIGHT though it is also about the old USA Network on the kind of programming that they use to show prior to NBC getting their greedy grubby hands on USA Network and changing their programming forever. I have a movie list that I am sure the OP who created this post on this board will love to see. Tons of film trailers in the video section of my website.

OMG... My SISTER was in Spookies. I kid you not. Kim Merrill, playing Meeghan. I am embarrassed for her, but I do love the fart monsters!! I had no idea anyone had seen it!

This may just be a matter of personal opinion, but I actually thought this was a genuinely GOOD film. I loved the character Allison Parks and how tough and smart she was. This was a film that came out at a time when action and horror movies with strong female leads were still fairly uncommon. I think the heroine in this film ranks right along side Princess Leia from the original STAR WARS trilogy, Ripley from ALIEN, Marion Ravenwood from RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, Sarah Conner from THE TERMINATOR and Nancy Thompson from A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.

Also I loved the action scenes and I thought the robots were really cool, sort of like miniture ED-209s.

really some of the best cheesy and underrated slasher flick franchises of all time is sleep away camps 1-3 great slasher flicks that really dont get all full of themselves with character development and things like that just a bunch of disembowlment, axes in chests and of course gratuitus young female camp counselors that are way to hot to where shirts...classic

That is great to hear and I cannot wait to watch those films! I love cheesy movies and that is why I would love to see films like that on television once again to be honest with you about it.

Although it's not really "horror" per se, but very similar in the storyline... that is... Westworld. It is a great and very underrated film! Sadly though... it has been announced that a remake is in the works for 2009.

I heard that "The Forest" is a pretty bad (in a good way) film!

killer klowns from outer space

Vamp, The Video Dead, Lifeforce, Terror-Vision, Street Trash, Body Melt...

In all fairness, pretty much anything with either Brian Yuzna or Charles Band's name on it is a pretty good sign of some of the best cheap and cheerful 80's horror.

If it's slashers that you are looking for, that are out of the ordinary here are a few:

Intruder (Filmed in a very fun way, cameras in the floor, phone etc. fun kills too)
Terror Train (A killer at a maskparty in a train, nice camero by david Copperfield)
The Toxic Avenger (Not a slasher, but insane kills and over the top brutality)
Motel Hell (Guy farming young people for beefjerky, strange nudity/sex, a little slow at times though)

If you need my suggestions just type me up :-)

I'm also a connoisseur of 80s cheese and would also like to find more movies like this. Here are 2:
