I am really stuck! Does anyone know the title & artist for the song that is played during the restaurant/dance scene(Sarah & James' first date). This soulful tune is stuck in my head, but I can't even remember the lyrics! It's an old song- (older than the Pointer Sisters!)- but I don't remember from how long ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

No if your thinking of slow song they danced to after he remarked at how she danced alone it's "Try a Little Tenderness" from Otis Redding. So fitting for the theme of the movie.

Right artist, wrong song. It's "I've Been Loving You Too Long."

The first song they danced to in the restaurant was "I'll Take You There" by the Staple Singers.
