Milly hitting her head
I liked this movie, but man, I was upset when Milly fell off the railing and hit her head. That looked and sounded real. I don't want to see that part again.

I share your concern, fellow. I believe they remade in foam that part of the railing (which is shown only in a close-up) so Milly (Lucy) could hit her head in a convincing manner.
Boy, that girl was sooo beautiful. I wanted to be 14 again and jump into the TV.
Oh yes, she was soooo incredibly cute! I had a dream after seeing this movie, back in '87 or '88, when I was in 3rd grade, that I married a girl in my school that looked just like her. Not too creepy, just coincidental.
