Rented this from the library

on videotape. my library still carries videotapes lol, and for me that's a extremely great thing because honestly DVD just doesn't have the same warm and fuzzy feeling I get watching a good ol' vhs tape.

anyway, I randomly saw this and picked it out. I swear if it weren't for my library carrying loads of great old gems like this, I never would have known it existed. this was such a touching movie that made me tear up on occasion, and it was just a kind, warm moving film that I am so glad I had the pleasure to see. its very true, they certainly don't make films like thi anymore, which is quite sad.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

I know what you mean about videotapes, and that feeling is something only people who grew up in the videotape era can understand. The other way to discover those would-be favorites at that time was to catch a movie on HBO or Cinemax or another cable channel, and that's how I discovered "The Boy Who Could Fly". That said, I prefer the convenience of the newer formats.
