Streaming everywhere in High Definition
Last night I finally got the chance to re-visit this movie in high definition on iTunes (it's also available on Amazon, Vudu and a bunch of others but NOT Netflix).
Much of the issues of previous releases have been fixed. It looks and sounds great! I used my 106" projection system and it really holds up well. I always wished I had seen this in the theater and now I feel I did.
The difference was really remarkable. Lucy Deakins did a superb job and it really shows here. Every aspect of her acting finally gets the high def treatment it deserves. The only bad thing I can say is that sometimes you can see the cables they are attached to in the flying scenes. LOL
If you haven't seen this movie for a long time, now is a good time. It really looks great! Just wish it was released on Blu-Ray.
