I find this movie...
As a tragedy. It has an interesting climax when you see that he can actually fly, but then he just drops her off in her bedroom window, says goodbye and leaves...presumably never to be seen again.
I watched this movie with my kids because I saw it as a kid. One of my older boys asked me, "Is this movie a tragedy?" I had to just shrug my shoulders and say yes.
Any thoughts? I just thought it was a sad ending...Sorta morbid in a way...
