So where did Eric fly off to ?

I know there's no real answer to this question - but I just thought it would be fun to hear everyone's personal opinions & input on this.

Where did Eric fly off to at the end of the movie ?

reply

To his other girls house.

reply

yeah, maybe he just flies around to different towns & plays the same bit on some cute girl in the town he's in. :)

He just needs to find a house that he can shack up in for awhile. Hell, Uncle Hugo probably doesn't he know the kid. He's just some kid that started living in one of the rooms Uncle Hugo was never using - and since Uncle Hugo was so drunk all the time anyway it never bothered him.

thanks :)

reply

he probably flew back to where Superman lives, lol! :D

reply

...and when he got there, he couldn't fly anymore!!!

reply

I agree.

Eric was never really autistic. He just pretended to be so that he could get free room and board at his "uncle" Hugo's house. Though Hugo is not really his uncle. But Eric was able to say he was cuz Hugo was drunk an didn't know what the *beep* was going on anyway. Once everyone found out about Eric's ability, he just flew to the next drunk person's house that was far enough away so that he could start all over again.

In the commentary, Jay Underwood jokes that he flew to the Bahamas afterwards

Fantastic commentary by the way!

He flew over to the Neverland Ranch, slept there for a couple of days and now he refuses to talk again. He now makes his living as Adrian Pasdar's stunt man on "Heroes".

"I'd buy that for a dollar!!"

He flew to Chicago to romance Tia Russell until her Uncle Buck caught him with another girl.

You smell like beef and cheese, you don't smell like Santa.

reply

Tia Russell's house; that's definitely where I would fly to!

reply

My theory is I thought he died and went to heaven.

reply

Last time I saw him, he had fire all over him and was in the company of a guy who could stretch his body, another guy made out of rock, and an invisible girl who's also his sister.

reply

That wasn't him.

reply

I have seen this movie and did think he was autistic. I think that Eric flying symbolizes that he commits suicide & goes to heaven. I do think it was a very good movie.

reply

Wow ! jengreens That is one dark theorie you got there ! lol I just felt that he flew away somewere peaceful and he became a hermit with a long beard or something...

reply

He went off somewhere else, grew a beard and became a lumberjack.

reply

...alongside Dexter!!!

reply

I always thought he flew off to heaven where no one could hurt him anymore.
