In the end, where he goes on the mission to get around the block and beat the bullies, he shoots water or pee at Sonny. Does anyone think he really peed in his own water gun or was it just water and Louis made Sonny think it was pee. I'd think that Sonny would be able to tell if it was water or pee by the smell.

But in my opinion, I think he probably did really use pee. LOL! (I myself thought it was a great idea!)
I also think that the people who made the movie wanted us to think it was really pee. At least that's how I see it.

I assumed it was real, at least in the context of this fictional film.
I thought that scene was an odd touch – perhaps an attempt to get at PG rating while otherwise this film seems solidly G.
I have absolutely no trouble believing it was really pee. He is a little boy after all, it would have been such a normal thing for the little rascal to do.
I only do it with superheroes.
When it came on network television Im pretty sure piss was dubbed to say paint. Or atleast in my neck of the woods
shareI've always believed it was real pee. I had some really sick bullies in my neighborhood growing up and they did things like this to other kids. They'd also put colored water in their water guns or something that would stain clothing. So I see a kid getting pay back by adding pee to his water gun very realistic.
