PSA Disclaimer before movie

I remember watching this on Disney when I was a kid and before the movie would start a written message and voice over would remind kids that this was just movie and people do not actually fly. Anyone ever hear about networks or studio getting sued because someone tried to fly after seeing this? I remember a story about a kid who jumped out of his attic window and landing without a scratch(miracle) after seeing Superman, BWCF, and several other people flying movies.

There were some fairly high-level news articles horrified at the point at which Milly and Eric throw themselves off the school roof. I can't really blame them -- the movie could have been a fantasy or a tragedy based on that single moment.

I'm actually kind of glad people were like, "DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME." Because the movie does make the mechanics of Eric's flight kind of nebulous, and it would freak me out of kids thought, "Hey! I can fly too!"

And I mean that as a compliment in a way -- the movie feels very real. So Eric flying feels real too. I appreciate that the studios didn't want kids jumping off roofs to test their powers.
