THE FABULOUS MOVIE HIDDEN IN THIS ONE

Go read Roger Ebert's review. Just go to Ebert.com and search 'black widow'. He came up with a dark, cool fantastic ending for this movie. Something that was hinted at but the film maker's totally copped out on. If they had done what they should have and this went where I THOUGHT it was going - it would have been a modern Film Noir classic!

Yeah, the ending, as it stands, is really poor. Run-of-the-mill TV show level stuff. And it wasn´t the Code era anymore, for chrissakes, they didn´t HAVE TO settle for something as cute and boring as that. Really takes the (otherwise passably interesting and colorful) movie down a good notch. Or two.
