Stands the test of time
I remember Black Widow as being one of my favorite '80s crime/suspense movies, along with Against All Odds, Jagged Edge, Sea of Love and others. I haven't seen it in years and talked my husband into watching it with me last night, but pretty much expecting that he would say it was too dated and maybe even predictable. Au contraire, he really liked it and I found it to be just as entertaining as ever.
The chemistry between Debra Winger and Theresa Russell is palpable, and though it's not a "mystery" in the classic sense since we know "whodunnit" from the beginning, their cat-and-mouse game is so much fun to watch. If you've never seen it or haven't seen it in a while, you're in for a treat.
