Cheerleaders at a diving meet?

Is there any college anywhere that has this? I can see Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri doing this in their old SNL cheerleaders sketch.

Those two and that skit were classic. Like cheering at the chess meet! Seriously!

Ha Ha Yes I can totally see them! I think they're onto something. Let the girls who tried out for cheerleading but didn't make the squad cheer at obscure sports and academic meets to hone their skills. Photo ops for their parents!

yes it does happen. My high school had the cheer leaders at the State Championship. (Although that was both Swimming and Diving combined)

In high school my best friend was in water polo (one of the most boring sports ever conceived), and they had cheerleaders, the same ones who were at the football games.
