Will this ever be released on DVD

Hi, I love this movie. My VCR isn't the most reliable, and I don't want to lose it forever. Will it ever come out on DVD or will I have to watch for it this Xmas on TV so I can record it on my DVR thing that is part of a digita cable company?

HBO is showing it On Demand this month...so if you have a dvd recorder, you can record and have it on dvd.

or you could try converting the vhs to dvd with a video adapter... it would then come in handy for many more vhs to dvd conversions
