I agree.
Touch me and that hand will never touch anything again.
I love this movie! It's one of those films that I remember from my childhood, and it's just a great holiday classic! I have the VHS tape, but the DVD would be awesome!

I completely agree. Im 14, and when i first saw it I was about..4? I dunno, but it has left an imprint on me, and every time i think of it, i just have the urge to watch it! But i cant! Its never on television..and its not on DVD. I've been looking for it for a while now. I just can't find it anywhere. It really should be realeased on DVD!
shareI love this movie! when i was 9 or 8 i use to watch it alot on abc family and i still wish they'd play it on tv too.
shareAm I glad to see that I'm not the only person on this planet who loves this movie! I stumbled over it on ebay a few weeks ago where I was looking for movies starring Keanu Reeves, since I am a huge fan of his. Okay, I have to admit that at first I had been a little sceptical when I put the tape into my VCR, but that feeling soon vanished. I really enjoyed it from minute one! The movie is sweet, funny, the actors are great - it's just great entertainment and fun to watch! I also like the music very much. Does anyone know if there's a soundtrack available?
This movie should definately be released on DVD! And special features would be great!
This is the best version of Babes in Toyland.
Freddy Krueger: Come here. Come here, my little piggy. I got some gingerbread for ya.
Yep. Love this movie. Can't get the Cincinnati and Toyland songs out of my head all the time~! I have the VHS and will keep the VHS as long as I live.
shareI LOVE THIS MOVIE.
So glad to see that it's not all people saying how horrible it is. I mean, c'mon. Of course it's horrible in the sense of quality movie-making, but that doesn't mean it's not great! :P
I used to watch it all the time when I was little, we got the tape from McDonald's. ;] I was in love with Keanu Reeves at 6 years old. :P
I hear that...Keanu was a big part of me realizing at a young age I was gay. LMAO! Or maybe I just idolized him..who knows..all I know is "Jack" had me at hello in that movie. I remember wishing I could be Drew's character and go to Toyland and him when I was 8. I think it was his outfit too. LOL! Nice legs! I hated Mary for getting married to him in the end..I was a jealous child;)
sharePresently, I'm watching as many films as I can from the decade of the eighties that I can find available on Hulu. Since I exhausted just about all titles available on Hulu in that time period I was forced to watch it. Truth be told, it's actually not a bad film and I'm going to ignore the low production design values because it was made for television and that was pretty much the quality for television as I remember it. Now, whether it's good enough for DVD release is a whole other story. Perhaps as part of a collection of movies, yes. By itself? No!
Live Long and Prosper!
