Mr. Barney said....WHAT???

At the beginning of the movie, when Mr. Barney is yelling at Mary to "push the teddy bears," does he REALLY say, "Its better business to be nice to the boss than some pretty stockboy with his fingers in their tail?"

Cinci-whatski??? What kind of messed-up, random, crude kind of line is that? Somebody please tell me I misheard it!!!

reply

Yes, you misheard it. What he says is "...with his fingers in the TILL."

Whoops! I think that was an epic fail on my end!

I made the hubs watch the clip on youtube about the same time you replied and he also pointed it out that he says, "till."

But to my defense, he agreed it does sound like, "tail!"

I really hope I'm not the only person in the world who heard the line that way!

You might be. I just watched it with no recollection of dialogue, didnt even remember the Cincinnati songs or Cinci-whatski nickname and when I heard him say the line, I heard till, not tail.
