Eye liner?

I remember reading a review 22 years ago and Christopher Walken's eyeliner was remarked upon. I didn't notice eyeliner on anyone else. The director probably felt it gave Walken a more sinister appearance than his motley cohorts.

As for an eighties thing, doesn't Jack Sparrow (aka Johnny Depp) sport the same cosmetic enhancement?

Glover, Penn (Chris), and Walken all clearly sport eye liner here. Why? I have no idea.

As for "80's and eyeliner", the hairstyle-makeup combo of the latter two continually reminded me of Eric Roberts in The Pope of Greenwich Village.

Yes, this---and eye shadow---was a real problem with another Walken movie, Dogs of War, as well.

Yes it's called guyliner and I think it's sexy as hell ;)
