Who played the truck driver?

The cowboy truck driver that went plowing through all the traffic when John Candy had to get to the scene quickly to help his friends, who played him? The credits don't mention who played the truck driver.

Steve Railsback. He's the "Cowboy".

He was the american astronaut in the british sci fi classic life force, one of the most expensive british films of the 80s, which i loved but sadly did pretty awful at the box office, thats the only other film ive seen the guy in, he had one of the main parts in that.

It was called Lifeforce. That movie was a trip, but it really did terribly though at the box office.

Also played Charles Manson in Helter Skelter.

He also played Ed Gein in the film Ed Gein. I met him a few years ago at a horror con. Very nice guy. Also not very tall.

I remember him as Duane Barry from some very pivotal early episodes of The X Files
