ABSOLUTE COMEDY CLASSIC
The 80's CANNOT be topped when it came to comedy!!
shareSO TRUE!!!!!
I agree.
I agree, this and who's Harry Crumb are so underrated
shareYou need to check Going Berserk. It was trashed by the critics, and had a limited release, but probably the best thing that John Candy ever did. It is available on a John Candy Box Set, along with Uncle Buck and The Great Outdoors.
shareI love this film, but I also do like "The Great Outdoors" and "Uncle Buck" (which I think is sweet; I thought John Candy had that knack of making you care about his characters, like in "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" too!).
shareIt's a fun film. And I agree, the 80's were great for comedy films.
shareThe 30s kicked the shit out of 80s comedies: the Marx Brothers, W.C. Fields, Mae West. The 30s had wit. The 80s had The National Lampoon.
