Somewhere out there

Who sang this song in the movie? The scene where Fievel is looking for his family and he is singing and his sister is also singing the song? Does anyone have an mp3 of it? My 5 yr old niece has been trying to sing it she tries to imitate Fievel and hit the highnotes, but she doesn't know all the words yet.

The song is called "Somewhere Out There". I think it's originally sung by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram, but there's lots of other versions of it as well, sung by other people...

The pop version is by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram. In the movie, it is sung by Phillip Glasser and Betsy Cathcart.

OOOOOh! Me wuv that song!
Lyrics:

Somewhere out there,
beneath the pale moonlight,
someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight.

Somewhere out there,
someone's saying a prayer,
that we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there.

And even though I know how very far apart we are,
it helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star.

And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby,
it helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky.

Somewhere out there,
if love can see us through,
then we'll be together, somewhere out there,
out where dreams come true.

Hope that helps.... and please tell this neice that it's a great song... and to keep up the singing! (Hey, that sounds like me, when I was 5... still, I guess;)!)

Im 27, and this is one song I absolutley love!!
I'm a male!!!

It's that melody and lyrics--- very moving
lyrics!!!!

And the perfect orchestra inriches it!!!

I liked the Philip Glasser and Betsy Cathcart one
a tad more cuase it's more child-like---!!

And the rest of the score, although it's not a Disney
movie, has that Aladdin feel to it!!!
