Here's a thought. Why do Feivel's parents have accents and Feivel and his sister don't? They all should have russian accents. Maybe the filmmakers thought kids would have trouble connecting with Feivel if he had a foreign accent?

If they were concerned about that, they probly wouldn't have named him Fievel in the first place, since that name is supposedly uncommon (I myself know nobody with that name).
Since I brought that whole thing up, I might as well ask: does anyone know someone named Fievel?
