Similarities with 'Maus.'
Has anyone read the Pulitzer prize-winning graphic novel "Maus: A Survivor's Tale," by Art Spiegelman? I think this movie was loosely inspired by it.

Art Spiegelman actually really hates this movie. He admitted that he has a bit of a "Spielberg problem" because of it--which may explain his bizarre criticisms that Schindler's List is "a movie about Clinton" and "America's love of capitalism".
