Tiger?
Just wacthed this again for the first time since I was a kid. I swore I remember a scene where tiger gets introduced to the family? Did i imagine it or id it cut form TV versions?

No filmed version of the scene you're remembering exists.
However in Don Bluth's filmography book "The Animated Films of Don Bluth", they were planning to put a scene in where Tiger introduces himself to the Mousekewitz family, Tony, and Bridget. In the film, you only see him peeking in on their conversation during the fire sequence, but according to the book this was expanded to have Tiger explain his history with Fievel to his family so that they could all go and look for him together. If you're interested, here's a link to the section of the book on "An American Tail" (which also goes into a few other deleted scenes that never made it into the final film (including the Mousekewitz's journey to the boat, a song for Fievel during his time at the workhouse, among others)).
