I remember seeing this movie as a 6 year old little boy. Made me fall in love with the idear of the United States of America.

Me too! It made me fall in love with both the western and early 1900s period of that country..! As a kid, i always dreamed of taking a boat like Fievel across the atlantic and come upon a world like the one in the movie...

Movies like this along with a few others makes me extremely fortunate to live in this country. The USA, founded upon freedom for it's people, is truly a country to marvel upon with it's history. While things may seem grim in this economic condition, in comparison to other major nations in this world, it is paradise. Our economic conditions are among the top five best countries in the world, the diversity in our nation is something that no other nations can brag to have, and our history is astounding. These reasons is why immigrants from all over the world come to us; for freedom, for economic opportunity, and for an overall better way of life. That is why we are the "American Dream".
