Same bird in Thumbelina??

Both movies have some sort of French bird who offers guidance and words of wisdom to the protagonist while singing about "following your heart," correct? Or am I just crazy?

Their only similarity is the French accent. The bird here looks nothing like Jacquimo. He's also much less annoying. ;)
