Original Aspect Ratio / Best Version To Buy?

Hello,

I was wondering what the original aspect ratio of this film is?

And which is the best version to buy? I've heard it was filmed in fullscreen?

Is there a Blu-ray on the horizon? Is there more than one DVD version?

If you have a VHS somewhere, then I would go with getting either the '87 or '91 VHS as they are the original. I heard the DVD's changes a few things about the movie.

I just watched the DVD with both films and I didn't notice any changes to the movie.

Actually, the voices of the orphans at the end have been changed.
