Demi and the stuffed bear

I love all the little vignettes that the couple have; one of them is that she's surprised by his large bear, which appears to move as they get close in the bathroom; Demi looks genuinely startled. Was this in the script or was she really surprised?

I always wondered as well if it was a blooper, or that she really acted surprised, but I don't know.

it looked unplanned. It's really hard to look that surprised if it was done in more than one take.
