Yea, this movie is a bit outdated but it's still interesting to watch and still one of my favorite movies that's filmed in Calif.; I think in mostly the San Diego area. This was one of Andy Garcia's first movie roles. Here's a bit of movie trivia: he does a little twitching movement with his hand that he repeated in the scene of the "Untouchables" when he and Costner confront the gangsters coming down the stairs with a baby carriage in the way of the shooting. Was Mr. Garcia reminding us to watch "8 Million Ways..."? Wish "8 Million Ways to Die" was released in DVD. Well, maybe someday.
besides 8mwtd, here are some other great 80's titles that are still languishing in the defunct vhs wasteland, Electric Dreams, Teachers, Clara's Heart, The Legend Of Billie Jean, 52 Pickup, Crossing Delancey, Compromising Positions, Harry and The Hendersons, Jacknife, The Wild Life, North {1990's}, Prince Of The City, Cruising, Author Author, Night Of The Creeps, as well as many other ones, can you think of any others that are well overdue for dvd format?
I've had this HD print for over a year now (I got it in trade from a friend that works at Image Entertainment ) It is SMOKIN'!!! VERY nice, beautiful print, so if they're gonna release it in October y'all have a nice treat coming for sure!!!

"Now, I know I'm pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a coupla titties!"
I found this on VHS for the entirely reasonable price of 75 cents, and watching this on tape just feels right. I never got the appeal of DVD other than for widescreen format, and at this point, I suspect I never will.
