Tony Montana part 2.

Every Scarface fan must check this movie out. No doubt that Andy Garcia's character is the closest that Scarface fans will ever get to seeing Tony Montana in another movie. Like Scarface this is written by Oliver Stone and made in the mid 80s. Andy Gracia plays an over-the-top latino coke lord. This movie is must see.

I am still PO'd that Andy Garcia didn't get an oscar nomination for this role! He was superb -- my favorite was the scene in the big warehouse at the end when he went nuts.

Still one of my favorite crime/drug movies, along with Two Days in the Valley.

I enjoyed his performance at first, but the stench of ham was too much by the end of the warehouse scene. Baby!

x2 as I watched this yesterday, I kept think garcia was just similair to Scarface. Basically Scarface on the West Coast

He's basically a poor man's Tony Montana in this film.

A fun performance indeed.

They misspelled his name! There's no such thing as Moldonado. It's Maldonado- I should know, that's my last name haha.

I agree! Off the top, I can't think of any other movie where Garcia plays such a memorable villain. It'd be awesome to see him cast in a similar role.

Absolutely do NOT see this. Garcia's character is a lot more intelligent and subtle. He's a schemer. Montana was all balls and aggression.
