Where is the car?????????????
I wonder who ended up owning the stingray? The show is better today than it was 20+ years ago.

One of the cars was purchased by the associate producer when the series finished. He still owns it today.
shareJust curious what happened to the others. From the sound, it was an automatic, but I'll have to look very carefully on my DVD's to see what kind of shifter it has.

There were at least 4. I saw them on set in Canada in '86. Not sure why so many, but they all looked the same from the outside. No idea of what trans each had, or engine.
shareThere is usually a "Hero Car" that is used for publicity. There is also at lease 1 or 2 "camera cars" that are used with cameras mounted on them for filming actual motion. Camera cars rarely have power trains. They are pulled on trailers.
