I 'met' David Rasche Saturday
Ok, maybe we didn't actually exchange conversation but when he and his friend (wife?) passed me on the "R" paltform, I said "It's Sledge Hammer!" and he smiled and got away from me as fast as possible.

"You're not right in the head/
and nor am I/ and this is why/
This is why I like you"
where? Are you Bull shooting us.
I actually DID meet David Rasche Saturday night. He was at a private party in Brooklyn. As soon as he walked in, I was like "That's Sledge Hammer!". I felt kind of like a tool going up to him, but he was so sweet. He introduced me to his wife and we all chatted a bit. He was extremely nice and tolerant to put up with gushy fan B.S. when he was just out to have a nice time at a party. He even endulged me a photo. It was such a pleasant experience to meet Mr. Rasche. In the industry I work in, it's often that you meet a celebrity/actor who you admire who turns out to be a total a-hole. I'm relieved and happy to say that is far from the truth when it comes to Mr. Rasche.
I was at that party too!!! He was awesome. We talked for quite a bit, and I have to say, he is a real person. Very genuine and nice. His daughter and wife are good people too. The next day I was grinning ear to ear thinking, man, I hung out with Sledge Hammer!

David did a geat job in United 93 despite his small role!
shareI've heard from so many people that he's really a great guy. Would love to meet him someday.

Wait a minute... who am I here?
I met David Rasche years ago in NYC. I had just seen him star in Joanathan Reynold's "Geniuses" an awesome off-broadway play. I was having a drink at a bar down the street afterwards and David walked in . I bought him a drink and we chatted. Great, down to earth, cat.
shareI met him too - last year! I was working at the Tribeca Film Festival and he was leaving the theater to buy some popcorn and he asked if he needed a ticket to get back in and looked at me and said, "you'll remember my face right?" . . well when he came back I said, "oh I remember you alright . . Sledge-Hammer right?" and he said, "um yeah!" with a huge smile on his face that someone actually recognized him! I also had just recently seen him in a preview of Sentinal (where he plays the President of the U.S.). He was a funny guy! And as you all mentioned, very nice and down to earth!
shareGreat to hear he's one of the good guys!
