Season sets vs. Complete collection set -- which wins?

Okay... which has better quality, extra goodies, etc -- the seasonal dvd sets, or the all-in-one complete collection box? Thanks!

They're both the same thing from what I've been told.

They're both the same, except for the fact that the Complete Collection comes in a box shaped like the Ghostbusters firehouse.

But the Complete Collection wins not only for the keeper box, but because it's taking forever for them to release the last two volumes into retail stores.

I have to say complete collection
over here in england they only ever released season one in my area, which i had and enjoyed. I then recieved the complete collection in the HQ box for my 18th birthday which is simply phenominal!
so its a win for that for me
though i bet its ace collecting the seperate seasons as well.
(mind you if you wanted that, you could just take the dvds outta the collection box)

Old post, but whatever.
I really like the steel cases, though some prefer plastic.
The complete collection also comes with a bonus disc that isn't contained in the individual seasons. So it does have more extras.

reply

Is it still possible to find the collector's?

reply

Yes, I know Amazon still has it. You might find it cheaper if you look around a bit elsewhere though.

Just know that while it was initially released in steal cases (inside the firehouse box), they've since been switched out for plastic cases. So if your heart was set on the steal cases it'd take some searching, probably 2nd-hand on ebay.

reply

I don't know if the season sets include the bonus disc or the episode guy so if anyone else is still looking for the answer to this question, go for the complete collection.

reply

The individual sets contain episode guides and special features, everything except 1 extra bonus disc that is in the complete set.

So if you want everything, get the firehouse box. It is very cool.

reply

It's pretty f'ing simple. The Complete Collection has every episode and the Individual sets only got up to volume 3 of 5.

reply

It's time for the seasons - or box set to be re-released for everyone to enjoy.

Can't find any at a reasonable cost.
