I am stoked because Netflix is sending me Perfect Strangers!

I am really excited about receiving the first disc of the first two seasons of Perfect Strangers! I have not seen this in reruns since Nick@Nite ran this back in 2002 or 2003. Perfect Strangers either came on before Three's Company or after. Basically what Nick@Nite did was use Perfect Strangers as a fill in for late night entertainment and never ran this in prime time because they did not want us original fans to be tuning in to watch it. Instead they wanted to cram down our throats was Full House instead.

Another show that NICK@Nite ran was Head Of The Class as well either before or after Three's Company when it was on Nick@Nite. The only other network that I remember catching Perfect Strangers in reruns was on USA Network about the late 90's. I was so excited to see a network show Perfect Strangers in reruns that I woke up everyday to watch it. I think this came on either before or after Gimme A Break on USA Network in the late 90's.

That really made me mad with USA Network and Nick@Nite because this was a great show and why did not they not run this in reruns? I mean this was on a couple of years before Full House was and I liked this show a lot more than Full House I hate to say it. Possibly the reason why I say that is because shows like this they do not want to show but they want to show Full House, Home Improvement, Family Matters, or any other show in reruns more than anything else and not giving Perfect Strangers or any other show at all!

That is why I am really excited about getting to watch the first two seasons of Perfect Strangers even though I would like to see the whole series out on DVD box sets.

was it all that you hoped for?

Yes it was because I have not seen this show in ages! They are showing Family Matters in reruns on Nick@Nite and do I see this showing on Nick@Nite or any othe rnetwork? No I do not. See when shows like this, Mr. Belvedere, Valerie/The Hogans/Hogan Family that are not shown in reruns I do get excited about seeing it on TV or hearing it came out on DVD. A lot of the shows that has been shown on Nick@Nite have been aired on every freaking channel! Look at it now King and Queen show that was shown on ever freaking network along with How I Met Your Mother. There are shows that were popular and they do not show them for some reason I do not know why though.

I wonder when it will be on Netflix instant?

I am not sure when it will be on Netflix instant. I am surprised that ABC Family has not shown this on their network since they still own the rights to it or Nick@Nite and even TV Land has not shown it yet. Family Matters was a spin off from this and it was shown on ABC Family and now on Nick@Nite. See how biased TV networks are with certain TV shows? I have noticed that for years because I have seen TV shows that came out the same time as others and was just as popular as those other TV shows and guess what they will not show that particular one in reruns at all, but the other shows they will.

I'd forgotten that Family Matters was a spin-off of PS. And what a great spin-off in that it was totally different than the original.

Yeah I remember nick at nite got on a huge kick at times showing shows from the 50s, 60s, and 70s back in the 90s. Then for some reason they skipped most of the 80s shows and went directly to the 90s. Made no since because this show was the most I wanted to revisit. I remember sometime in the mid to late 90s they showed it on USA in the summer time and I got a chance to watch it in the later morning because I was not in school. I had not seen the earlier episodes because I was too young to remember them at the time they aired so it was a treat to finally see them. Then for some reason they stopped at the The Men Who Knew Too Much 2 parter from season 6 and started overto the beginning. I am pretty sure they skipped a lot of episodes before that because there were some episodes during that time I remembered that I did not see. They never did show the last few seasons which were the ones I remember the most. I heard the reason they still have not released seasons 3 thru 8 on DVD is because music rights from songs that were played on the show. I wish they would just put it on istant netflix already because I'm sick of waiting to see the later episodes again. This is one of the few shows that seemed to get better each season and has aged very nicely. Please release the rest of it in some form. Even a complete series like they do with some. It would be costly but its one of the few shows I would shell out for even though I already have the first dvd set.
